When a middle-aged psychiatrist must find a way to salvage his crumbling relationships with his teenage kids, he comes up with a plan for them to build a replica of Thoreau's cabin together in their suburban backyard. Builder's Block, adolescent rebellion, and other natural disasters threaten to shatter his dream in this contemporary comedy about parenthood, creativity, and the cost of living your unlived life.
